Anyone know a company around that refelts pool tables in South Houston. To big to move so would have to be a in home job..

Can't help you with a recommendation, but I can tell you that replacing the felt is about the easiest part of assembling a pool table. I moved and reassembled mine and if all you have to do is pull the bumpers off to put new felt down it shouldn't be too hard. If you have to re-felt the bumpers as well I would definitely hire it out.

I did this evening, 445 for premium felt Maroon colored. They do the poll tables I found out for the school. So I have them comming out next week. I've got a New York Night 8 ft table. 10 yrs of teaching the youngest daughter and nieces and nephews took a toll.

Yea every thing needs a uplift. Thanks for the advise, I thought about doing it myself as I like to fix things myself but this is a little out of my league. When it comes to my table perfect is what I want lol. I'll let yall know how it turns out.

Good deal. Billiard Factory is great. They do do the tables at A&M or at least used to. The felt on mine came from one of the tables in A&M's football locker room. Apparently the A&M logo wasn't big enough for the teams liking so BF replaced it and one of the the installers ended up with original felt and put it on his table at home, which I ended up buying from him.

Good deal that's cool. Mark or Matt who I talked to said they did all the pool tables at A&M and Houston. I asked about an A&M felt and he said he wouldn't recommend it if the table had heavy use because the image would fade quickly and get a fuzzy look. Recommends to do all maroon felt and image table cover. I guess they do custom stuff for the schools and have to do licensed cheap stuff for the public.
