I've never been to a 1pm game on a weekday before. Given that all the garages and lots will be pretty full already with people who work downtown, what are my best options to find a spot to park? I'm sure there will be some up-charging going on since it's a playoff game also.

Park in some shopping center lot outside of downtown and then Uber

Park & ride the train is the simplest thing.

But you can drive around and find surface lots if you bring $20-30 cash and walking shoes.

8th Wonder and walk or Sigma and light rail (free on gamedays w/ ticket)

Either way get a beer or tree before/after game.

I paid cash to park in one of the lots just East of 59 during the World Series last year

It wasn't cheap. May have been as high as $50 but I think it was more like $30

I would try to park somewhere that it doesn't take an hour to get out of after the game or go to the bar for a while before leaving the area

Last year it was $50 in a lot right by the stadium.

A lot of street parking in the area is not open for parking until 6pm. For instance, San Jacinto before you get to Texas Ave, on the left side, you can park there on weekdays, but only after 6pm. Before that it's a driving lane. So just find a spot like this and drive around till you come by it right at 6pm and park there.

For a 1 pm game?

Got 2 tix to 1st home game of ALCS and parking pass in the lottery today. Not sure where the parking is but glad to have piece of mind.

For those who are looking for help with this, I found a site/app where you can pre-book parking garages downtown. Was able to get a garage booked that morning about 4-5 blocks from the stadium.

App/site is ParkWhiz...there were 1 or 2 others as well.

Garages are the devil when it comes to major sporting events. Unless you are fine with going out after the game and hanging out at a bar for an hour or so before getting in your car. Otherwise, have fun waiting in line for an hour.

Unless you park in a garage that is like 10 blocks away.

Lots are full, try El Paso.
