Have not tried them - I've been wanting to look at some Hamilton Shirts for a few months now. Located in Houston

there are about a dozen companies doing essentially the same thing. i'm sure they're all pretty decent shirts, but I doubt the quality is that much better than Brooks Brothers and the like. More about fit.

I know a girl that is a sales manager for them. Not guaranteeing a hookup (of flesh or price), but it would be a start

Hamilton shirts FTW. My FIL was a customer since the 70s. I had 1/2 dozen made. They keep all measurements. Just call when you need more. Very well made. Sharp looking shirts.

I ordered from Proper Cloth and Original Stitch. The shirts are made in Japan. Fit was good, but the material was very thin. It's a good shirt, but not worth $99. You can get better shirts at Nordstrom's for the same price unless you have an unusual body type.

I might go in and get measured. I'm a lolpoor for $225+ for a dress shirt. I have no doubt they're high quality

Been using Hamilton for about 3 years. Expensive but the quality and fit is unbeatable. They put the month and year the shirt was made on the shirt tag.... I have white check dress shirts that were made January 2014 that still feel new.

Some of their sport shirts I have made have been hit or miss though.

I know some wealthy guys who would laugh their asses off if someone quoted them $200+ for a dress shirt.

How do you think they got that way?

I got gift card from CTshirts... was excited when I checked out their site and saw the cool patterns and price... Got the shirts and thought they were trash... even for the price. It's just my opinion though.

Material feels and looks really cheap. The length relative to sizing vs. other big brands ran very short and not... correct for both dress and casual shirts. Collars all wore terribly thru washes and the threading at a lot of the seams started coming undone after a couple of washes. I just think generally, they are ***** You pay mid-end prices for a really low end product with CT and they get all the bargain hunters with their year round 'super sales'.

My experience has been nothing like this with them. I'm 6'2" and thin. I order the extra slim fit shirts with a longer sleeve length. These fit me perfect, and the length of the shirt is good. Not too long,, not too short. Ihave at least 8-10 in my closet now of varying ages and all are holding up well after many many washes.

I do wash them on gentle cycle in a machine with no agitator and dry on low. The no-iron comes out well. Only minor touch ups to collar sometimes.

If you haven't tried them before, it's definitely worth a go when they have a 3/$99 sale or similar.

I also have had good luck with ctshirts.com. Good deals and pretty good quality. The first batch I got weren't a great fit (too b****), but I switched to Slim fit and the fit is great.

That's only 3 years old. Ask my wife, I've been wearing some of the same cheap shirts from Ross for years.

I have CT shirts and one Proper Cloth shirt. CT shirts are too blousey. If you are at all muscular, you can't get their slim shirts to fit across the chest, so you have to go with the classic cut which is too blousey across the mid section. I have a 42" chest and a 32" waist.

The Proper Cloth fit better because it is customized to your build (and made in Indonesia), but they are pricey and the material seems a little thin.

Yup... I also find their sizing relative to listing is wildly inconsistent
