Not really tine specific, but I trust the tine board. Does anyone have any experience with Casper, or any other direct-sale mattress outfits/companies? If so, does your experience match that of the online reviews?

I have the Casper. Love it.

Its not life changing but its been the best bed I have owned. Best part is it stays cooler when you lay in the same spot for a while.

Bought a Ghost bed last week as the online review site, sleepopolis suggested that Casper was no longer the go to and they didn't recommended it. I went with Ghost and it is way too firm.

Have to wait 30 days before you can return it but we just moved it into a spare bedroom until we can.....since last night I actually got up and went to the guest bed instead.

Not sure what I'll do next, but looking at Loom & Leaf, as Casper if comparable to the firmness of the Ghost

I bought a Leesa and sent it back after about a week.

I was replacing a tempurpedic that we have had for 5+ years.

Ended up buying a simmons beautyrest.

The main issue is the current mattress is medium+ on the firm scale. The wife wants a new one that's less firm (side sleeper). I am fine with firm, she's concerned about these direct mattresses may be too firm.

We have one from Texas Mattress Makers, going on 5-6 years. Pretty good for the first four or so, but wearing out fast. Not sure how far they are supposed to last. It is a little hot too. We have the cooling gel in it, but still hot. Not sure what we are going to do next.

I have a Casper and enjoy it. I will probably be buying one for the guest bedroom soon. They didn't ask any questions when I almost returned it for a 4,000 dollar tempurpedic when some store offered like 80 years no interest. Then I decided I didn't need to purchase or finance a 4K mattress and kept the Casper which I liked just fine. But it is truly risk free to try it out, so it wouldn't hurt to give it a go and just send it back if you don't like it.

Casper all the way. You have 100 days to sleep on it. If you don't like it they will come and pick it up from your house.

There is a very good and long thread in the General forum on this. We bought a Leesa about 6 months ago and love it. Same deal as the Casper on the return policy.

Anybody ever have a Tuft n Needle mattress? They're pretty cheap. Also have a return policy.

I wish I would've purchased both the leesa and the Casper to try. The Leesa gets pretty good reviews. I'll probably end up ordering the Leeda for my guest room since I already know what the Casper feels like.

The CEO of Casper is from Sugar Land and went to Dulles, I know him and his family well. They also owned what was formerly AngelBeds and Sleep better store which they sold.
