Does anyone have any personal recommendations for an estate planning attorney in the Montgomery or Conroe area? They don't have tons of money but the estate planning will be a little complicated due to stepkids, high rish of one of them having to go into assisted care and and my stepdad who is resistant to planning ahead....

There are attorneys in Houston - but they don't want to drive that far And the one that has been recommended had huge hourly rates (>600/hour).

Anyone have some names they might like to suggest?

Total was $1400 for everything; there is an $1100 option. 2 1-hr sessions: one to go over and ask questions; one to sign everything when done.

My family has been dealing with Tanglewood Legacy Advisors in the galleria. I k ow it isn't up north, but another option if they are wanting to interview several.

Most of the ones I know are in town but I believe Mike Riddle recently opened up an office in the woodlands.
