I'm giving a party and need 13 lobster tails. Looking for 6-8 oz tails. Normally go to HEB plus, but they only have the 4 oz tails. Is there any recommendations on where to buy these?

Or H Mart or Viet Hoa or Hong Kong on Bellaire. I would look and see if Kroger or HEB has them on sale too cause my Asian mother in law finds crawfish etc cheaper at normal stores sometimes.

Final update, in case you ever want to buy lobster tails,

1. 99 market only had very large lobster tails
2. Cosco sold them in 5lb boxes and they were only 5 oz
3. Sams had them wrapped up in packages of 2 tails. Each package was about a pound, so these were mostly 8oz tails. At $20/lb, that's about $10/tail
4. J&J Seafood Market in Stafford had 6oz tails for $9 per tail

I ended up going with the 8 oz tails from Sams. For an extra buck per tail, we get 2 more oz.

So, there you have it. Again, thanks for your help

I love their fried shrimp box for lunch... like $6 for a dozen fried shrimp, fries, cole slaw, and a coke.

But they run on APT so it takes 45 minutes

That's my trip home from work. I called J&J.

Do NOT buy out of the trunk of some guy's car. No matter how fresh he says it is, trunk seafood is nothing but trouble.
