Looking for a place to have a fire tonight, is there anywhere within reasonable distance of the galleria area that I can? I've got a fire pit and some wood, just looking for somewhere I wouldn't get arrested. TIA

Under the Yale Street bridge that goes over White Oak.

Bunch of people gather there around their fires with 40s and MDs. Bring a tent that way if you can't drive home you'll have a place to stay.

Lots of patio bars have firepits. Cedar Creek has several and The Boot has one.

We put our fire pit down by the apartment pool. That's what we're doing tonight, in fact.

OP- are you in an apartment or what? Why not do it in your back yard?

Yes, in an apartment

Then do it by the pool! Not really any mess and as long as you clean up after yourself I can't see it being a big deal. I mean, it's better than your patio, right?

Like Drumboy said, there are several bars that have fire pits, but I don't how they'd feel about you bringing in your own materials.
