I saw a thread on here a few months ago about an Aggie owned AC company but I couldn't dig it up . Does anyone know the name of the company ?

I don't know if he's an Aggie, but Ben Vollmer with Polar Express is the most honest and reasonable AC guy I've dealt with. He comes highly recommended from an Ag realtor I used, if that helps.

Jim at EnviroMax is an Aggie and installed two complete AC systems at my house. They did an excellent job and I highly recommend him.

Every A/C thread in the history of texags includes Mike @ Artic Air. That is the company and thread you are thinking of. I'm honestly surprised this thread has gone this long without pimping him. Though he's not an Aggie so maybe that's the reason.

Mike at Artic Air just replaced one of my AC units last week. Good guy, and gave a great price. Saved me a few grand. Also got out and got the work done in a hurry. Definitely worth giving him a call.

Highly recommend Jim and his team at Enviromax! He just installed a second unit at my house last week (the other unit was done last year) and those guys are quick, efficient, professional and do quality work. I called on Wednesday, they quoted a price that day and after accepting they said they would be on-site Friday by 9:00 am....truck was being unloaded at 9:00 and the total unit installation completed by 1:30

Jim also has an amazing air filter he invented. it lasts an entire year! i was a skeptic until i bought one! it works great even for allergies. i definitely recommend him and his team. he is an awesome Aggie and Aggie Dad!

Any recs for Humble/Kingwood area? Don't need any service right now, but looking to the future. Enviromax doesn't look like they cover that area.
