I have the choice of taking my exam at either the Imperial Valley location or the Northwest Freeway location. Anyone ever take a computer-based test at either place?

I just want to be sure the computers/facility is up to date. I've heard horror stories of computers crashing during exams.

I took some many years ago at the Sugarland and NW Freeway locations. I never had any problems with the computers at that time.

I've taken several tests at the Harwin center and had a friend take them at the NW place. He thought the place was good.

If it's a first thing in the morning start, I would get there early or else you'll be at the back of the line as they take forever getting everyone checked in.

Were you given scratch paper when you took the test? Or did they give you a dry erase board?

Dry erase. But I think they give you stuff based on what each testing board allows.

Ugh...that must be standard across the board for Prometric. I'm allowed paper and pencil for my exam, but I went to a study course last week, and the instructors are getting a lot of feedback from people in various locations across the US that only dry erase boards are being provided.

Just called the test center on Imperial Valley...they said they will give me paper and pencil.
