It's been a bad week for Houston Walmarts.

I was at the S. Post Oak location this morning (quite thoed BTW) and as I was walking out I see one of the huge parking lot light poles falling out of the sky and crashing on the ground. I guess the light winds were too much for that American Made pole!

What was amazing and fortunate for Walmart was the fact that no one was parked in the area. This thing would have done some serious damage to anyone or anything in its path.

1. That place has indeed been packed since it opened.

2. I went to a Walmart in Baton Rouge last week. Awesome. It was the Walmart for LSU, GLBT, and being BR, hood rats.

It's amazing for poor people stay poor.
