It's been a while since I went with my wife and another couple but I remember it as an above average meal. We would all recommend going to the restaurant, but I felt it probably wouldn't end up in my normal rotation of restaurants. This is mainly due to the price point being in a class where I don't have a rotation, I try out new restaurants.

Our table decided to share the meal family style to try out as many of the dishes as we could. One of our friends is a wine rep to the restaurant so we were treated excellently.

All the appetizers were good:
Quesadilla - Was the table favorite of the appetizers(we like cheese) - Not as spicy as the Queso
Queso Fundido - Everyone enjoyed this (we like cheese) - Had more kick than some at the table like, I personally liked it
Wedge Salad - Was a wedge salad, you really have to try to mess this up

Dinner:
Brisket - Enjoyed this as well, was prepared differently than how I've had brisket, but we enjoyed it, I remember it being like a smokey beef style pork belly, tender meat with well rendered fat
Enchiladas Saltillo Con Pollo - was well prepared enchiladas, nothing over the top
Shrimp - Remember them as big, well prepared but it didn't leave much more of an impression

Dessert:
Mexican Coffee - Table favorite (it was basically sweet coffee, but everyone agreed they would go back to get this)
Handcrafted Cookies - Were excellent with the coffee
Handcrafted Chocolates - Were good

I might have forgot a dish or two, but that's what I remember.

TLDR - Above average that I would recommend and experience once and make your own determination if you will make it back

Thank you CLT. It's certainly on our places to try list and appreciate your feedback. I've heard the steaks are amazing as well

TLDR - I went to a Mexican steakhouse and every thing we had could be ordered at any of the other hundreds of Tex-Mex restaurants in Houston. In summary, I have no idea if this place is great because of my unsophisticated, non-adventurous palette.

I heard that show yesterday as well. I've made "plans" to have a meal there in the next couple of weeks based off of what I heard. Advertising works!

I went 2 weeks ago with a big group.

It's good but for the price range I'm not sure if I'd regularly visit.

We got the Ribeye cap which was great. Overall above average but nothing that really screamed at me.
