Any good guys know of a good place in Houston to buy appliances? My wife & I just bought our first home near Westheimer and Voss and were looking for places other then Lowes, Sears and so on.

Are there any places around town that sell appliances that may be gently used? Or even some that are scratched or dented, but still work just like new?

Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

Acceptance Appliance at 249 and the beltway. They have new and scratch and dent. Ask for Matt (recent aggie grad).

We used Factory Builder Store. The show room is on Richmond about 1 mile east of 610. They have surplus/scratch and dent on Beltway 8. I was pleased.

We also looked at placed called Norwest Appliance (I think) on 290. The sales guy there was great, but I think their selection wasn't as good as FBS.

Have bought multiple items there. One was a stove and all that was wrong with it was a small scratch...They buffed it out before I took it home.
