What are you seeing an ophthalmologist for? Need to know that to rec one. Retina specialist? Etc

I take a medicine that could cause retina damage so I have to have my eyes checked at least once a year by a qualified doctor (opthamologist).

So I don't have retina problems yet, but I am looking to avoid them.

How far NW? My sister-in-law is in the Tomball area, and I know some other TexAgers go there. She is an Aggie. I will have to get all the contact information for her practice.
