Wife and I moved to the I45 & 1488 area from b?CS this summer and are looking for a new church home. Looking for recommendations.

She grew up Baptist, and I Lutheran. Been attending a small country church outside B/CS which was where my family has been members for generations. Now we are here and clueless. Visited Grace Crossing twice (once for each service), but we want to try several before deciding on one.

There is the Woodlands Church, Crossroads Baptist, and Cornerstone Baptist all just off College Park Dr./242 between 1488 and 45. There is also The Ark which is west of 45 just north of Gladstell. Those will probably be the closest ones to you that I can think of.

We are visiting Stonebridge Church (gostonebridge.com) and are enjoying it.

We'd be blessed to have y'all at West Conroe Baptist Church just off of Loop 336 North!

If not, may be worth visisting TWUMC or The Loft at TWUMC.

Fumc is where I grew up going and my parents still go. It's a big church though.

Young church.. Pastor is an Aggie. We enjoy it and feel connected.

Christ Church UMC on Research Forest next to Woodlands High School. Dr. Hannon always seems to work something about sports into his sermons and is a big Aggie fan. We visited TWUMC before ultimately deciding on CCUMC.

The fellowship of the woodlands is good, I watch them on tv. But I go to community of faith, it is Kerry shooks brothers church in cypress

Woodsedge Church: bible church off of gosling south of woodlands pkwy. Fantastic preacher in Jeff Wells, has grown quite a bit over the past three years. Fairly charismatic but heavily into the bible and prayer.

First Baptist the Woodlands: Been my home church and my parents the past two years. Solid student ministry, Bruce Webb is a great preacher who really challenges his congregation.

Woodlands United Methodist: Been going to the College ministry there the past two summers when back home. HUGE student ministry. Lots of neat and unique bible studies and opportunities.

The Ark: In Conroe, my best friend's dad is the pastor and the church has grown exponentially since the mid 90's. Solid student ministry as well. VERY charismatic, but if that's your thing this is the perfect church for you.

When we're in Conroe, we enjoy Conroe Church of Christ.

We attend Faith Bible Church on Research Forest by Bear Branch Park. Conservative theology and similar to Grace Bible in College Station, though not nearly as huge.
