Does anyone find her/him funny? I guess it was mildly amusing the first time I heard it, but now when Michael Berry plays it, I automatically switch the station. Seems like he plays clips just to kill airtime.

Like any comedian, sometimes funny, sometimes not.

I agree with Bass, it was funny for a while but it seems like he plays those clips all the time. Maybe he plays them at the same time everyday and I seem to catch it everyday, but it is pretty annoying now and I change the channel as soon as it starts.

Michael Berry seems to be mailing it in recently with the number of Shirley Q Liquor clips, and the lack of overall commentary he provides but once again, I only catch his show from about 6:30-7.

It's funny, just would be funnier if it were more sparsely used, and for more important things. The Shirley Q Liquor takes on some major issues are hilarious. The one on Obamacare was awesome. The guy who does Shirley Q Liquor is MB's age and from Orange. He is probably a friend who gets a nice little supplemental income from his friend MB to lend his alter ego to the show.

Eh....not all that funny.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that so many of you find him funny. He must get positive feedback to play him as much as he does. Guess I'm in the minority.

It's funnier if you're from SE/East Tx, I think. Not every bit is that funny, but some are great satire.

Some are downright stupid, but maybe its the E Texas in me that finds humor because I have known old black women who sound just like Shirley Q Liquor. The ones that are funny are usually spot on funny, and worth the 5 minutes a day you have to listen to the bit, even when they arent funny.

That one was good, but I've heard him play it at least 20 times. Maybe it's just the frequency that he plays it that bothers me and not necessarily that he plays it.
