Not at those places....but we used the Northwest Forest Conference Center of off Telge last summer for our reception. They were great to work with, and their rates were very reasonable. If you call them, ask for Victoria.

Went to a wedding and reception here.

Had a good time, probably because of the open bar.

Didn't have mine at either but I have been to receptions at Lindsay Lakes and Northwest Forest(In the Settelment House). Enjoyed both of them and thought they were both nice. No experiences with actually dealing with them though.

Tunnels, check into Lindsey Lakes. From what I heard it is a fixed rate including food, alcohol, and a honeymoon in the bahamas(just from what I've heard). I want to say it is $25K-$30K?

Plus my buddy's liquor stores provide for the weddings

We did ours in March at House Plantation. Loved it and a well run operation.

If you are looking in that area for the next great place, this is it:
Chateau Cocomar

This place is brand new - I think the grand opening is in July.

I shot a wedding at Chateau Polonez and that was a pretty cool site.

I shot a wedding at La Tranquila Ranch in March.

If you want to know specifically about some of these and other places, feel free to contact me. Not sure what exactly you are looking for in a place. Or post here if you have specific questions about each place.

I don't know much about Lindsay Lakes or the Enchanted Cypress Ballroom, but could ask other vendors if you had specific questions.

My aunt and uncle own that place.

I got married in Magnolia, a little bit outside of that area. Place called Ashelynn Manor. A bit pricey but totally worth it.

we used their vendors IIRC. (It was my parents deal, mom set all that up)
It was only our rehearsal dinner, we didn't get married/reception there.
We did have most of our out of town guests stay there, since it was just down 290 from House Plantation. Everything seemed to work out great.

digging tunnels - We had both our rehearsal dinner and reception there. As far as vendors, I think we mostly used the ones off of their recommended list. I can't imagine they'd be hard to work with if your brought your own in. One big positiv for us was the person assigned to our wedding (Victoria). She was very good at suggesting things we may not have thought about, but she definitely kept our budget in mind while doing this.

Northwest Forest did a very good job with Texas A&M's wedding. It was a very nice venue. I don't know of any hiccups from that wedding.
