Who is your ISP? I am having a hell of a time finding anyone that even has our address in their system(new build) much less shows it can provide service. I already ran ATT into the ground and they have been absolutely useless

What the heck street are you on? We had a huge problem getting service to our house, but then discovered that our lines had been scorched in those arson fires last year and no one ever thought to fix the connection to our house. Once they fixed that problem, everything worked fine.

Uverse definitely provides your street, but your specific address might not be in their system. My house hadnt had phone lines in years, and when I signed up for Uverse I had to call and say that Uverse WAS available, but they just didnt have my address. I could do an address search for the houses on either side of me and see that Uverse WAS available for them.

I had some initial hassle getting Uverse installed, but once we got the address squared away the customer service was good. Had to escalate the call and find a rep who knew wtf he was talking about. It will take you longer with any service provider if it's a new build with no prior service history, but I have a hard time believing they can't service your street.

At my last address I had to have Comcast establish a new connection and it was a clusterfkk as well.

I live off of 11th just west of the Heights and I got Uverse. They are a pain to talk to on the phone!

I just switched to Comcast today because my AT&T phone line has been out for the last two days and their techs can't seem to figure out the problem.

A friend of mine has a business in the Heights and he gets fantastic speeds with Comcast's business package.

Trying to avoid Comcast, I have directtv so I only want internet and their prices are pretty uncompetitive

Can you get Clear coverage in the Heights? I am in NW but have Clear and am very happy with my speeds.

Clear works amazing at Herkimer and 12th. It takes 30 min at a Clear store and less than 5 min to setup up at home.

How much is clear?

for uverse....took about 8 hrs for initial setup....would change, but dont want to go through another hassle....
