Looking for a place similar to Maxs Wine Dive

for similar food? maybe felix 55 in the village? i may just be equating the fried chicken/waffle thing. for wine? 13' Celcius.

I've always been a fan of 13 Celsius. Not as food-oriented as Max's, but I like the atmosphere, and not as crowded as Max's.

I'll second BRC. Great food and a good wine list at comparable prices to Max's. The beer selection is solid as well.
Coppa is Itailian food, but it's damn good and the wine selection/prices are excellent.

Block 7 right across from BRC. Branch Water Tavern is also similar.

not food more wine related but corkscrew is back, off 20th near cedar creek.
Anyone have the lamb at Block 7? Mine was terribly over cooked...
Side note: my wife's fish was perfect, and so were the sides and wine...I just had a rough time with the lamb.

Yeah I hear Max's Wine Dive is a lot like Max's Wine Dive.
Update:
I ended up going to Union Kitchen off of Belair in West U.
We had a group of about 20 people and the service and food could not have been better. Dinner entree prices ranged from $15-25 and wine priced around $8-12 per glass. I'd describe the food as American Eclectic.
I would recommend.
