Looking for a fun place with the best playground to take the kiddos to. I remember seeing one in North Cypress I think but cant remember where it was. Dont care about water features or any of that. Just one with a big awesome playground

cypress to spring is just a 10 minute jaunt up 249.

Best park in the area by far.

Katy City Park (Train Park) in Old Town Katy. It is great, plus Mary Jo Peckham park is right next door.

We ended up going to Meyer Park. It was pretty nice. Will try out Old Town Katy next week. Still looking for that one that is full of awesomeness. If any of you are from Round Rock/Georgetown, there is one there that is absolutely insane. That is what we are looking for

If you're willing to drive to Tomball, there is a great park (Mattheson) north of 2920 off Ulrich Rd.

Take a R on 2920 from 249.
Take a left on Cherry from 2920
When you cross E. Hufsmith, it becomes Ulrich.
Follow Ulrich over the RR tracks. It is on the right. (there is another park on the left)

Keep in mind that the train park is a cool playground for kids, but if you go next door to Mary Jo Peckham park, you can bring your fishing pole, feed the ducks, have a picnic, or even play put-put next door. There is also a dog park attached, if you have a dog.
