Wife and I get to go out to dinner tonight (thank God for baby sitters). We want to try somewhere new that's not a chain (i.e. Chili's, Pappadeaux's, etc.). You guys have any suggs or recs. Mexican, Italian, Chinese, BBQ...it doesn't matter.

We would prefer somewhere in the area enclosed by beltway 8, 290, 249, and around Hwy.6/1960.

Extend your area a little north on 249 and try Peli Peli, it's delish!

It's not a chain, but I wouldn't consider it mom & pop, it's pretty fancy
