Went down at 10:00 this AM. Two separate sets of dynamite charges. I have a house in Lakewood right behind the property. Good boom but no shock wave, no vibrations, even the wildlife didn't seem too bothered.

Some people in my neighborhood heard it, but I did not. I think I was doing laundry then and my washing machine is freaking loud.

That's right.. The wife mentioned they would be streaming it for employees that wanted to watch, but we forgot...

I heard it. I thought it was thunder.

I work for HP but completely forgot about this today. The lady friend and I were driving to the Egg and I for breakfast about 10:05 and got a little scared about what was going on until I remembered. Hope they have a webcast or something for it.

Sad to see it go down. I have being in M7 off Jones road. Although I go back over to the original cafeteria for Luby's and Fudruckers from time to time.

Why was it demoed?

The buildings belonged to Lonestar College and they wanted to create green space.

Knocking down perfectly good buildings which could put people to work for green space............Rick Perry would have a cow!!!

Only a government entity would buy buildings on a forested campus and blow them up to create greenspace. Why did they buy the buildings in the 1st place? Makes no sense. They have tax dollars to waste though. Better spend it.

I love that all the comments on the video are from 9/11 conspiracy nuts.
