My wife and I are having a date night tonight for thr first time in a long time. No kids for the entire night! So what are some fun things we can do aside from the obvious sleep and nookie??

I don't go out on dates, but how about a wine bar, comedy club? Bowling & dinner at the Pavilions Downtown?

Go see Midnight in Paris at River Oaks Theatre and then stroll on down to Marfreless for a drink. Might as well get the nookie out of the way while you're at the latter.

If OTL, as suspected, don't blow the whole night commuting in and out of the dangerous downtown area. Who knows what kind of nonsense goes on down there?! Grab an executive booth at Chili's, splurge on some $4 happy hour light beers, hit up a chick flick at the local Cinemark, and be home before 10.

Seriously, it's restaurant month in Houston and many nice restaurants have 3 course meals for $35/person. You can google Houston restaurant week and see the restaurants and their menu. I'd suggest Del Frisco's in the Galleria. The wife and I are hitting up Ruth's Chris tonight.
