I wear contacts daily. I haven't been to the eye doctor since college and I graduated in Dec 06.

I've been wearing the same contacts for over a year and only take them out about once a month.

Probably time to head to the eye doctor to make sure my eyes aren't rotting away.....they seem fine.

Live inner loop, but willing to go anywhere inside the beltway.

Dude, you probably have some serious neovascularization going on. I nearly want you to come see my docs just so I can see what's going on.

I have been wering contacts and going to eye doctors for around 15 years. Hands down best eye doc I've ever been to is named Cohen. His office is on main street downtown. Good luck.

I go to Dr. Hamill at http://www.baylorvision.org. Dr. Koch mentioned above practices there as well. I'd see any of their doctors.

The only downside to Baylor Vision is that they're very busy and it can take weeks or months to get an appt and then they're hardly ever on time for the appt. You'll be recieving excellent diagnosis and care, though.

If you're a contact lens wearer, go see Jazmine Logendra or Kelly Nguyen at Baylor. They handle all of the contact lens stuff for the department. (they're both Optometrists). You'll be able to get in much sooner than to the Ophthalmologists there (especially Dr Hamill or Koch)

I would definitely recommend switching to daily wear (either daily disposable or a biweekly disposable lens with daily cleaning). We see alot of really bad stuff from contact lens wear- almost exclusively from the extended wear contact lenses.
