saw that on the news last week and went flaccid at the video of all the biggin' fuglers twirling around.

When I go to a tata club.. i am always shouting the Lord's name. So I understand why these women feel this way.

You cannot be serious. I'm getting tired of "Christian" being used as a "Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval". Christian comedy, Christian pole dancing, etc. Its like people think that because something has "Christian" stamped on it, it's automatically ok and they don't have to think about it. Here's an idea, have the self confidence and moral clarity to know what you're doing and why and stop having to justify everything.

It's a marketing ploy, just like "Christian Lawyers" They try to get uber religious people to purchase their services based on a perception of similar beliefs or values.

I laughed when I saw it on the news as well.

I was actually told that if you have a cross on your g-string, it's ok OR if you have a....um...cross shaved you're really ok.

They were all tatted up on the news. It was gross.

Indeed.

I actually had a meeting yesterday with the pastor of a new & growing church up here on the Upper East Side. Really nice guy but it was definitely in the vein of the hip, non-denominational, Jesus-as-motivational-speaker churches so common today.

I'm going to be working with them on their real estate needs and I flat out told him I find that whole "hire me because I'm a Christian" thing to be extremely distasteful. He agreed.
