We've been happy with Humble Pediatrics Atascocita. Dr. Smoot is an Aggie, but all of the docs we've seen there have been nice.

We LOVED our pediatrician in College Station and it was very traumatic to change (we stayed with her when we moved to Cypress, but it was just too far when we moved to Summerwood).

2nd for Humble Pediatrics - I have 4 who go there.

We use to go to Dr. Smoot and liked her but the wait time was long. Granted it was during an office expansion scenario but we moved on to Texas Childrens Pediatrics in Atascocita. Our 3 see Dr. Cox, also an Aggie. Great doc, impresses my wife who will be an NP for TCH Cardio surgery this fall. Not many docs have gotten that approval from the wife.

We use Dr. Smoot as well, Humble Pediatrics is great they have been around for a long time. We have seen Dr. Smith there and he is good as well.

Whatever you do - do NOT go to a pediatrician who doesn't have admitting privileges at Texas Children's Hospital. If you ever have a serious problem, you do NOT want to be denied help there.

We take our spawn to Kingwood Pediatric Associates and see Dr. Kathleen Hassell or Dr. Barnhardt. They're outstanding.

It's just north of 1960 on W. Lake Houston.
