Brings back memories of going to see the laser light show at the old Tower Theater in high school...at least, that's where I think it was, don't remember much about that night...but I know it was great!

Is doobie smoking on the hill frowned upon?

I think they prefer you use bongs.

That would be sweet. One of my favorite CD's is a double set of a live concert recording from the 90's. Hardest thing I've ever had is alcohol, proving that you don't need to be stoned to enjoy PF.

Sure, you dont NEED to be. But it's nice.

I bet that'll be cool.

In the early 90's we had a neighbor that owned a company that did laser shows all over the world and we often got to go to whateverhe was doing in Houston - Pink Floyd shows in the planaterium, Splashtown, etc.)

He did a Pink Floyd concert in Paris at the Palace of VXXX(not sure how to spell it) for their Comfortably Numb album.

Or was he acting "Animal"istic?

I went. Was really good. You could smell the pot from the blanket section. The crowd was a bit higher class than I expected, but ladyfriend and I did see a few interesting sights.

Like the hilbilly with boxers and overalls. That's it.

The lady with the chairs and blanket, getting mad at people for walking on the blanket, when it was in the "natural" pathway.

No lasers or anything, just a few lights. Did DSotM for the 1st act. Played "Wish you were here", "Welcome to the Machine", "Run like hell" (last song) and "Comfortably Numb" (the song, not the album). Did a bit of artistic free form on Run and Comfortably Numb. They did have an acustic fail on Wish and Welcome, so they were played on the electric. Barring that, they did a really good job of performing almost to the album quality/style.
