Just in case anyone has someone building next to them in the future, you may want to know there isn't a noise ordinance in Harris County. Working until 11 pm and starting at 5 a.m. is just something you have to deal with according to the police. JSYK

i know there is a city of houston noise ordinance that is specific to construction activity in a residential area. i believe it prohibits any loud work before 7am and after 9 or 10 pm. sounds like it may not be county wide. we had a similar problem a few months back, definitely no fun.
