Does anyone know of a good residential HVAC company in the Katy Area? I am having issues with my hvac and need a professinoal to take a loof at it.

Had Craig over to my house yesterday. I don't know if he works out in Katy but the heights is most likely in his range.

My home warranty place sent out a guy and said it was a dirty evaporator coil. After they quoted me $600 to clean it. I called Craig because he was my Father in law's classmate at St. Thomas HS. Well Craig came out and did some more investigating and found out that my new condenser wasn't properly matched with my old evaporator coil. (not a dirty coil) So it will never work efficiently and properly.

He was very fair (price wise) and clearly explained what needed to be done and then told me to call my home warranty place to have them get another guy out there to get my coil updated (with an expansion valve) and/or replace the old coil.

Just talked to Mike Waters. he's coming out this evening. Sounds promising.

I dunno if he does HVAC or if he only does duct work, but it's worth calling this guy if you get no joy with your current appoint.

Indoor comfort quoted me $675 for something Daren fixed in 10 minutes. And he wouldn't let me pay him. Great guy.

Hired Mike Waters. He's installing the new system Saturday.

$4,400 for a 3 ton 14.5 SEER Ruud unit with a whole house filter (doctor recommended), and they don't have to tear out my hall ceiling like the first guy wanted to.

I am pleased to report it is now 78 degrees in my house.


But my bank account is very angry at me.
