I'm in an adult softball league and I'd like to find some cages in the north side of town (prefebly within beltway 8, if not close). I've done some Google searches, but the closest one is Zuma and it sucks.

Know of any others?

That's what I was thinking...I can't believe in a city as large as Houston there aren't more batting cages around.

well even baseball batting cages have a hard time staying in buisness. especially with the lack of rain here. slow pitch softball has almost no chance

There is a place off of Kleinwood Drive in Spring that has batting cages. It is close to Stuebner Airline which is where Klein HS is.

Same here. The parabolic curve of the slow-pitch softball pitches kills me! lol!

If you are out in Katy, visit the batting cages on South Mason next to Inflatazone. My wife and I went out there for our birthdays on Sunday and it was a lot of fun.

Just get a few buddies together and find a field to take some bp on. All you need is some time and about two dozen softballs. Fields are much easier to find.

when i've been to a batting cage that has slow pitch softball, it's usually no where near the speed or arch of what you'll see in a game. it's way faster/flatter

agreed, but it's better than nothing i've found, last game i went to zuma (which was crap) and did really well

never played there. I play out in Bellaire on Sundays and over at the Quilian center on Tuesdays. I don't think there are any fields worse than HSP though.

I go to Oaks Batter Up on the corner of 290 and 610 on the the northwest side. They have slow pitch softball cages there.

There are also cages at that fitness/training/rehab center in Meyerland. You have to have someone manually feed you the balls (no homo) though.
