How long do you want to ignore this user?
Has anyone ever used this stuff, or a similar product? My girlfriend and I want to see if we cant put an exposed brick look on some walls in her house. I have researched a little and have found this. 1/2" bricks that just apply right to the wall. It looks great. Just want to see if there are any opinions on this stuff, where did you or can you get it, and how much was it? Also, is it a DIY kind of project, or need to hire someone? I work for a general contractor so I am pretty handy with most of this stuff, but it may just be too much and too messy to bother with myself. Any advice or comments is appreciated.

Been thinking about doing something similar with stone on my fireplace. Check out this site...

I think this is the easiest stuff to put on, but can't attest to how realistic it looks like. You can order a sample through their web site.

So does it get applied basically like ceramic tiles in that configuration?

As far as i understand, its like tile....its actually real brick, just thinner, they have corners and everything. I saw it on 'this old house'...it looks great.

we put some up behind a wood buring stove in the barn and it went up easily enough and was pretty durable. looked good too.

I believe it screws to the wall, similar to plywood, and since the edges are staggered, you don't notice any seams. These have some impressive pictures on their web site.
