It has been awhile since I've seen Willie perform, can he even sing anymore? Is this a first annual event at the SHRP?

tardsan, i saw him about 2 years ago in college station. dude played for 2 hours straight and sounded great...granted it was inside and AC'd...not outside in the middle of summer in houston.

RageKage, seems like a pretty good lineup, but not worth the $30 and $7 beers to get roasted and disgustingly sweaty in this beautiful weather.

Tomorrow night is the way to go. $1 parking, entrance fee, dogs, sodas, beer. Leaves you a little extra to wager on the ponies.

oh boo, it's this weekend. we're going to my fiance's parents. why can't Willie have his picnic one week later?

because it would be a little odd to have a 4th of july picnic on the 11th.

tardsan, there is a good chance we will be out there in the evening. haven't finalized weekend plans yet, but it's shaping up that way.

I'm pretty sure I'm headed out there tonight as well.

You guys have fun. I remember going to that back in college when they had it in Austin. It was definitely a great time.
