how it's used on this board and how i've heard it used are actually different. the definition (per that link) that i'm most familiar with is:

tight, cool, a state of mind;drunk, gone off dat lean, high, etc

it's my understanding that it derived from "throwed"...as in, you're thrown off your balance from so much alchy or drugs

Since you are being so helpful tonight, can you please tell me what "FIFY" and "Fify protected" mean? I hate to pose that question to the general board...I would probably get the standard "STFU nOOb" and other replies.

I thought it meant "found it for you"...but that definition doesn't apply in most cases.
