JJ's sandwiches are not exciting, but just good.

Go a little further south down Kirby to Jersey Mike's - it's better than both of them

potbelly and quiznos taste nothing like each other. the only common element is the toaster.

i've only had jimmy john's once and wasn't impressed. there seemed to be about 2 slices of turkey and 4 slices of cheese. the avocado was brown and they put 1/2 pound of sprouts on there. that was supposedly their "signature sandwich".

In the Greenway area, I go Jersey Mike's.

If you can find a Lenny's I might go there. Their Salt & Vinegar chips are the best I've had.

JJ's is only good if you want the JJ Gargantuan.

Potbelly is better. The Wreck is very good.

jersey mikes is very similar to New York Subs in C/S...and this is a good thing.

Never tried pot belly or which wich...but jersey mike and jj's are both awesome. I eat jj's at least once/wk.

Oh man Diggity....I loved NY Subs in College Station. I don't think I would compare the two though. I think Which Wich is the best around. The one on Eldridge had amazing service and great food!

Potbelly: Mediocre sandos. Their only favorable attribute is their "hot peppers" add on.

Which wich: Great variety of sandos fitting any particular need you may have at that time. Good sandos.

Jimmy Johns: Good quality sandos, but doesn't exactly fit my choices. Im more of a hot sando man and JJ does not give me this.

Jersey mikes: Quality, delicious sandos.

Im also a big fan of Stone Mill Bakery. Not to mention central market or specs, which offer quality ingredients. If I had to rank all of the establishments i'd have to say:
Stone Mill > CM > Specs > Jersey Mikes > WW > JJ > Potbelly's > Quizno's > Subway.

Thats not to say there is much difference between some of the establishment rakings, specifically at the top.

Brown Bag Deli, a little further, but trumps them all. Never liked Potbelly.

Did anyone ever used to frequent Eatzi's for sandwiches as often as I once did? I've never had anything as good as what they used to concoct. It was a sad day when they permanently shut their doors.
