I am looking at diong some landscape work in my backyard and am looking for any suggestions or contact information for some wholesale place to buy bulk truckloads of river rocks/pebbles and a couple pallets of flagstone. Any suggestions other than Lowe's and Home Depot would be helpful.

I just put some rocks in my backyard and am also about to stone my fireplace up to the ceiling. I went through these guys and highly recommend them. They have a ton of stuff and are pretty good to work with. Several locations around the metroplex

By the way, I bought quite a bit of the large native stone and it looks really good as far as stone/pebbles goes.

I am also getting ready to put some flagstone down in a large area of my back yard. Any place out there HAS to be cheaper than Home Despot and Lowe's. They want an arm and a leg for a pallet of flagstone.

I've used Custom Stone on Joe Field Rd in Dallas to buy the limestone for my fireplace. They have a good inventory and the prices are fair.

If you need some "technical" advise, I wouldn't try to get it on a weekend. The counter salesmen have more time for you if you show up on a week day.

I just did flagstone in the back yard. Whiz-Q-Stone worked out great for me.
