Around the Ridglea area, South of Camp Bowie, but East of 183?

Anyone live over there and like it, don't like it?

We are looking at homes there, and my wife has several friends who live there, but most of them grew up there, so I don't know if they have what I'd call unbiased view points.

Anyone here live over there?

So you are talking about Ridglea Hills? I live across 183 & Vickery in Ridlea Country Club Estates but I know Ridglea Hills pretty well.

I think it is a good location, but the homes are older so you are probably looking at some $$$ for renovation if you buy there. It's kind of a quirky neighborhood as well when it comes to prices. Around the country club and Luther Lake the homes are nice (expensive), while some of the fringes close to 183 and Camp Bowie are kind of shoddy.

Ridglea Hills Elementary is a good school if you care about that.

I'm not sure what the area is called. I know the CC Estates, that's a nice area. There just aren't many for sale there.

We are actually looking north of vickery, closer to Camp Bowie, but still East of 183.
Actually, a few blocks from Luther Lake.

some nice areas mixed with some crappy areas, mostly older homes, nothing you haven't noticed if you've been in the area
