I know it can't be as good as Campo Verde was with the neon orange cheese sauce, but thinking of giving it a shot tonight.

It was very good. Expensive but what steakhouse isnt.

Highlight was the waiter trying to talk the couple at the table behinds us out of ordering well done wagu new york strips. He did not succeed.

I didn't realize that Campo Verde was completely gone, I knew that had new owners and had updated the menu that pissed some people off but I guess they abandoned that idea and went with steakhouse?

Doesn't seem like the best time to open a high dollar steak house with the price of beef and all. I wouldn't give them much chance of making it but what do I know?

and that $14 Caesar salad better include tableside preparation of the dressing, yet somehow I think they would charge a bunch more for that.

Assuming the place is really good, those prices are not out of line. That short rib stroganoff look enticing.

Yep same location. Waiter said train is in the back. You knewCampo Verde was on it's death bed when they changed the cheese sauce and the train was never running. Really the only two reason parents ever brought their kids there in the first place.
