We just used Josh Archer for our extensive remodel. He does custom homes as well. We liked him because he gave us a budget up front and was patient and changed drawings about 5 times before my wife was happy(she's type A so not easy).

He's a sip but I would 100% use him again.

We used Kerry Dick in Fort Worth. Pretty easy to work with. Has a few per sq. foot and made several changes before we finalized the plans.
