One of my favorite restaurants (Chef's House in Roanoke) is hosting a wine pairing dinner on Wednesday, February 11th. They've done a few of these before and they're always great, but I wanted to get the word out on this one because this time they're featuring a great local winery from North Texas!
Arche (thread title messed up due to the e with the accent) wines is a local winery up near Saint Jo and the Red River. The climate is very different from the wineries in Lubbock or Fredericksburg and because of that they are growing some of the best Chardonnay and Syrah in the state. If you want to get a chance to have an incredible meal and meet the winemaker I'd recommend making a reservation through Chef's house for Feb 11th. This is a great way to celebrate Valentine's Day early!
