My MIL was hit by a car while loading groceries into her car at a Fort Worth Wal Mart last week. It was pretty bad. She flew over the car, knocked her shoes off, gave her a severe laceration on her arm which required 27 stitches. She's been in pain since and has had an ER visit as well as a primary care visit. At 72 years old its a miracle she's alive. Trying to avoid the big law hawks and Texas Hammers. We just want to make sure all of her medical is taken care of and to protect what might result from her injuries. Thankfully the driver is insured.

Hi everyone, I am in need of a personal injury attorney, on behalf of my mother. She is 82 years old, in an assisted living facility. Recently, another resident ran over her foot with a power chair. Her foot was actually dragged for a bit, which also caused a puncture wound. She was taken to the ER, they did X-rays and a full exam and sent her home in a walking boot. Unfortunately an infection set in which necessitated a second trip to the ER and a two day hospital stay. After being sent home, after several days her symptoms didn't get any better, and she's now back in the hospital for more tests, with a likely trip to a rehab facility. The resident who ran over her foot has insurance, there's an open claim, and the claims adjuster has been trying to contact my mother. I told my mother to not speak with this person without representation. I appreciate any assistance the Texags community can provide here. I realize not all PI firms will take this case (I tried two already), so I do appreciate any help!
