All - I was not supposed to be in town this weekend so didn't sign up for Carry the Load. If someone has a team, I'd like to join to march and donate.

Since I discovered this amazing organization, I've said that we Aggies (local clubs, or just a group of former students) should have a team. The tribute page on the premium feed is a reminder of Aggies who have paid the ultimate sacrifice. I hope next year, we can put a team together.

For those who haven't attended the Carry the Load March in Dallas, there are many worthwhile organizations there and plenty of fun for kids. Please try to stop by.

Carry the Load Memorial March

Did you end up making it out there? You could've also signed up on the spot so I hope you did. I was there on Sunday volunteering. One of my favorite events every year!

I was there both days and ended up walking with my neighbor's team; she was manning the Volunteer tent. Next year, we need to have an Aggie team - we'd take fundraising to a new level! Walked the 7 miles and then was 'shamed' by the 12-year old boy who walked 37!

I visited with a young woman and her parents on the trail. She just completed her first year in the Corps in I-1. It was great to see.
