I'm usually a DFW guy but need to fly out of Love for a certain departure time and destination. I haven't been to Love since 2016. C parking wasn't there at the time. Departing on a Tuesday evening if that matters.

I have a stock height '22 Ram 2500 4x4. ~ 6'8" clearance.

Where's the best place to park with my not so economy sized vehicle?

Don't know about vehicles of that size, but recently signed up for and used The Parking Spot at DFW (also at Love Field).
Easy, convenient, and decent savings over airport parking. Worth a look.

Don't travel much but also have used The Parking Spot at Love Field(and DFW). Works great.

I park my stock F150 4x4 in Garage C and that's my preference because it is connected to the terminal and just automatically bills you via your tolltag. It also has the lights above each spot so you can find an open spot easily.

google street view:

All garages show - 8' 2" clearance at entrance. A/B have smaller limitations on upper decks/raps - looks closer to 6' 10". but Garage C will serve you fine.

i prefer garage C - easy access to terminal, newer open air feel, bigger feeling spaces ability to park far away from ID10T's

This is the right answer. It is around $15 a day to park in A or C. I'd choose C.

They also offer valet parking at Garage C if you really don't want to deal with parking or are running a bit behind.

Thanks for the replies. Good tip on using google earth to check clearance signs!

With your vehicle, I would do C otherwise The Parking Spot.

Pro-tip: check with your company to see if they have a corporate discount with The Parking Spot. Might cut that cost in half making the latter the more obvious choice.

I never knew Garage "C" was a parking garage, and I go to that airport several times a year.

TIL. Thanks!

Good advice on parking in C. I parked on level 3, walked straight into the skywalk, and was through TSA 7 minutes after parking. Helps I'm pre-check but still, incredibly efficient!

Love Field is one of the best Airports in the Entire Country.
Its a gem for residents of the Metroplex to have two different airports that you can catch a direct flight from.

That it is.

I fly out of DFW more these days than I ever have in the past. I would like to see the drug fueled design sessions of those architects back in the 70s.

Unless you live in Atlanta, NYC, Chicago, Dallas, Washington DC, or Los Angeles you will probably have to get on two airplanes to get across the country, or go overseas.

I may have missed a city, but there are not that many hub cities that you can catch a direct flight to almost anywhere in the world to.

In terms of small airports Love Field is right up there among the best.
Houston Hobby, John Wayne in Orange County, Chicago Midway, and Love Field are what I consider to be the best small airports.
All of these airports offer direct flights to most major cities. They are generally smaller facilities, and very easy for a traveler to make it through security.

John Wayne in Orange County only takes about 5-7 minutes to get dropped off, go through security, and be at your gate. Its the skinniest airport terminal I've ever seen.

You may not have ever flown out of the old MCI then. That terminal was nuts how skinny it was. Getting through security basically dumped you at the tarmac windows next to the gate.
