How long do you want to ignore this user?
Having a few friends in town and want to do a crawfish boil this weekend. I have seen a few places that rent out equipment needed for hosting a boil. Does anyone in DFW have any recommendations on where to go for this? Additionally, any recommendations on places to buy the live crawfish would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Cajun crawfish company has been my go to every year, I know they used to rent equipment but not sure if they still do

No idea on equipment rental, but you can buy the setup for $100-120 at Academy. Depending on rental charges it might be worth it to buy if there's any chance you'll do it more than once.

Thanks for the recommendation, called Capt'n Daves and they rent the equipment for $25 with purchase of crawfish. Best deal I found for anyone else interested, crawfish prices seemed about average as well.

Great to hear! Recommend you show up early to get in line as it can be a little bit of a Charlie Foxtrot. Also when they say to remember your order number they mean it. That's all they will ask for on pickup day and they'll get bent out of shape if you don't have it.

Good to know they rent the equipment for such a low cost as well.
