Live in Lockwood/ Lake Highlands area and with small children/ dog looking to install artificial turf in backyard.

Any experiences good or bad and names of contractors would be appreciated.

Here's a thread from earlier this year. Lot of Turf Rocks recs which is who we went with for the whole back yard. I'd give them a 9 out of 10 just a small knock that I wish they'd be a little more responsive but them, along with most home improvement contractors, seem to have been extremely busy since Covid hit.

Anyone have synthetic turf under a live oak? Is it a pita to keep clean?

Used Turf Rocks, have a live oak. It's a super pain right now with acorns, but I've figured it out. Just blow everything to a corner then try to suck it up. Had to do it once a week for a while and now do it less. You will need a good leaf vacuum, and I suggest Werx.

I used a push lawn sweeper on mine under two live oaks. I was quick and easy.
