Specifically wondering about the eastern segments (2, 4 and 5). Does anyone know where I can get some information that is halfway up-to-date?

The latest I found online is from a Strategic Roadway Plan Presentation given in Farmersville in 2018. That presentation seemed to indicate the preferred alignment around the east/north sides of Blue Ridge has been scrapped in favor of a route more closely following SH 78.

Other than that, there's nothing from TxDOT or NCTCOG on the Eastern segments since about 2012. Just updates on what's been done between 121 and the DNT Phase 4 route recently.

Beyond a google search, I'd recommend reaching out to city council members, their staff, or county commissioners for any updates.

I did my own google search of "Collin county outer loop" and several of the links were fairly recent.

Where is the proposed look closely following 78? Would this make access to and from Sachse/Wylie more accessible to George Bush?

I'm curious as well. The pdf below would put it right on top of me. I'm NW of Blue Ridge by 508.
