The Baylor Heart Hospital at George Bush and Preston in Plano could be a good resource. I don't have a specific recommendation though.

I work at the Cooper Clinic in North Dallas.

Couple recommendations for the Dallas area:

Melissa Carry with Cardiology Consultants of Texas is downtown.
Tulika Jain is over at Presby with CIVA off of Greenville Ave.
Sarah Samaan with Legacy Heart Center at the medical village in Plano.

These are just a few.

It might be a bit farther than you are looking to travel, but I recently had a great experience with Dr. David May at Cardiovascular Specialists in Flower Mound. I saw him because his credentials were first-rate, but I also really appreciated the way that I was treated at my appointment.

Cardiovascular institute at UT Southwestern. They are the best and my mom happens to be the nurse practioner there. She is amazing.

I went to one in North Dallas, can't remember the name (a believe there are a few of them). Doctor was ok but one thing that stuck out was how old everyone is. Which I get (I was in my late 20s) and had some high BP wanted to get out in front of.

But so many blue hairs.....

Appreciate the suggestions...ended up seeing Dr. Trent Pettijohn in Plano at Baylor Scott & White on a friend's referral. He diagnosed me with a-fib and I'm having a cardioversion procedure this Friday morning...hopefully helpful.
