My wife and I moved from Forney to Argyle September 2014, and we are returning this summer. She was offered a position at ETMC in Athens, and I am currently superintendent at a golf club in Flower Mound. We lived in Forney for 3.5 years before moving up this direction.

Not entirely ready to purchase a home just yet, but want to get back as soon as we can and rent for at least a year before we look for something more permanent. I have some of the real estate websites pulled up quite often and look for any new rental listings. There are plenty in Forney, but we are hoping form something to come available in a certain zone for elementary school, middle and high school, essentially anything south of 80. Is anyone familiar with the rental market in Forney? Are there any possibilities of rental properties available that we may be missing with an online search?

If you want, I can get you set up to where you can be notified each morning and/or afternoon (or the moment they go active on the MLS, if you choose) of rental listings that are zoned to the schools you're interested in.

From what I've been told, the third-party online sites (Zillow, Postlets, etc.) only pull their data from the MLS at certain times, so if they pull their data at 1pm and a listing agent activates a listing at 2pm, it may be another 6-12 hours or more before the third-party sites are updated again.

I can also ask around to see if anyone has anything coming up that would coincide with the time you all are needing something this summer.
