I did Dallas tortilla factory last year, if you get there when they open you should have plenty to chose from

Mi cocinita (in lady's garage on Bryan ave) think she's only open 3 days a week now. Been going there for 20yrs. Amazing tamales that are always moist

There is place in Grapevine right off main street. Never been there myself but wanting to try. Hear and read good things about them.

Tommy Tamale

Also, even though from Central Market, I have tried the chicken tomatillo and they are good.

Went to Luna's yesterday.

No pre-orders until after the holidays. Just walk-ins. All they have left are pork tamales. $14/dozen.

Best tamales in Dallas.

I was at Hirsch's Meats in Plano today. They had a good amount of them. Don't remember the price.

Luna's son was my roommate the one year I went to Baylor. He played baseball there. His parents used to bring us up boxes of tortillas, hot sauce, and tamales on the weekends. They flat out have the best in Dallas, but I would also recommend picking up some of their hot sauce when you go there. It's damn good.

Luna's are great people too.

Luna's is the best. They also supply tamales to lots of restaurants in town as well as their hot sauce.

It's more like a food stand, really. I've gone to get them at Christ the King before, and I know they've done some other bazaars.
