Structured.

They have a good rep amount agents and inspector's as being honest, as well.

Would probably be who I would call if I was in need.

I wouldn't use a concrete pressed pier which is what structured uses. It's what a majority of companies use because they are the cheapest to install.

I'd use MetroTex foundation. They use drilled piers which i am much more in favor of. Owner Steve is a good guy and works mainly off referrals. Familiarize yourself with the different kinds of foundation repair because there are many.

Don't skimp and don't worry about the company making a mess. Drilled piers are much more labor intensive to install than a concrete pressed pier. If interior piers are needed, get them.

Steve with MetroTex just inspected our house. No foundation issues were noted.
Heck of a nice guy and very honest - I would recommend him and his company without hesitation.

What did that inspection run you?

Used Structured in June of this year. I would not use them again if I could reset the clock.

Good information here. Thanks for sharing. Will add MetroTex to my list.

Out of curiousity, what was wrong with the experience with Structured? Feel free to PM if you like. As an inspector, I run into the situation where the foundation is in question all the time, it is helpful to have quality honest contractors to recommend to people.

I paid for the service the day of the repair. The crew supervisor said they would return to fill in sink holes if needed within a week or two. Within 24 hours, I had five holes and called to get on the list. After two weeks, called the office to inquire about a date for filling the sink holes around the house. I was told that they would be there when they were ready. I went ahead and obtained dirt, filled and reworked damaged sprinkler. I was put off with the attitude of the office manager saying I was lying about a date. Also, they ignored a damage issue for over a month. Main issues were lack of common customer service after the company has payment.

Structured operates off volume. They repair sooo many homes a month and use a piering system that can be installed very very quickly.

MetroTex is a much smaller company but the owner will actually be at your house whenever he lifts it. Smaller operation and a different piering method. In my opinion a better piering method.

Also, steer clear of Fox Foundation. When we bought our house, Kevin recommended getting it examined.
We picked Fox on a req from our realtor.

Quote was $2500 for some basic level and one joist repair. Nothing pressing.

We called to have come do the work and the new quote was $12,500. He sold out in that time to a larger firm.
