I am looking for a Catholic church in the Dallas area. I live near NW Hwy and 75.

I found Christ the King and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church by Google searching. Does anyone have a preference? Any other locations that you like?

Thanks in advance.

I attend St Thomas Aquinas. It's a beautiful church, and I enjoy the priests' homilies. I'm not really a fan of the music selection at mass though.

Just north of you, in the Lake Highlands area, there is St Patrick's, but I've never been there.

Near Casa Linda, there is St Bernard's. I've been to mass there a few times, and the parishioners are basically a mix of older people from Forest Hills and younger families.

Near the Tollway and Inwood, there is St Rita's. When I first moved to Dallas I went there and Roger Staubach was sitting behind me. I've only been there for lunch time masses on Holy days when I'm in the area, but it seems nice.

We go to Holy Trinity on Oak Lawn. We live less than a mile from St. Patricks but like Holy Trinity a lot more. They have a really good choir too.

EDIT: if you eat your corn on the cob in constant rotation/spiral style, that analogy might be very confusing.

Interesting....

I learned quite a bit from your post, MKF. Thank you for the details.
