For my bachelor party, we flew down to Lake Charles. We rented a bay lodge for Friday night, grilled steaks and baked potatoes for dinner, boozed it up, and just hung out. The lodge was really nice with a poker table and pool table. Went fishing Saturday morning. This is the lodge and fishing charter service we used.

After we were done fishing Saturday (around noon), we headed over to the to L'Auberge du Lac Casino. We had rooms there for Saturday night. Gambled and drank it up all day/night. We went in March and it was still pretty cold but, if you go closer to summer, L'Auberge has nice pool. Everyone had a really good time. I guess I'm not one of those people that wanted all my friends to have to spend $1,500 on my bachelor party.

We went to Biloxi for one of my friends bachelor parties and at first we were sort of skeptical but it ended up being a great time. We stayed at the Beau Rivage which is just as big and has the feel of a Vegas hotel. We hung out there Friday night as well trickled in and gambled the night away. The next day we hit the hotel pool which was surprisingly pretty big and we were able to get a cabana with no problem and at a very reasonable price. They have TV's in the cabana's too so we were able to watch some college football. For dinner we hit up Mary Mahoney's and then went out at the Hard Rock Hotel which was right next to our hotel. It turned out to be a great trip and another surprising factor was that there were a lot of attractive women.

For my brother's bachelor party a few weeks ago, I rented a party bus (20 seater) that took about 10 guys from DFW to Shreveport and back all in one night. We left at 7pm and got back after 8am. Brought our own booze, had two "guests" the whole time (stripper pole on the bus), got hammered, and gambled. Best bachelor party I've been to bar none!

A few years back we rented a house boat on Possum Kingdom lake for a buddies bachelor party on memorial day weekend and anchored in Hells Gate for five days. Had a couple of ski boats as well. It was awesome. Everyone roped their boats together, we kept the houseboat by itself for obvious reasons, every morning.

Currently working on the same. Trying to figure out what to do. Austin was an idea, but he use to live there, so not really something new. LA, SD, CHI, Boston, NYC. Not sure what we are going to do yet.

I was a little skeptical at first because the dude doesn't speak great english, but it turned out fine and no issues. We even were allowed to smoke cigars on the bus! We ended up paying $1200 (+$200 driver tip) total to go from Wylie to Shreveport and back with no time/hourly limit. He was the only one I could find that wasn't going to charge me for extra time. That's way cheaper than anyone else I called, especially considering you can split it up since it is a 20-seater. And I think he has other bus sizes too.

Sorry, I have to ask...where did your "guests" go when you got to Shreveport?

To be honest, I'm not sure, but I think Larry Flint's across the street with a couple of the guys. I checked out once I found the blackjack table.

Told you it was shady. I surprised myself by even making the call in the first place! But it turned out perfect and the price couldn't be beat.

Enough said. This spot was awesome for my cousins bachelor weekend a few years back. Highly reccommend it, there's golf in the area too
